EAGLES END SUPER LONG SUPER BOWL DROUGHT

WHAT'S THE DEAL?

The Philadelphia Eagles beat the New England Patriots 41-33 to claim their first ever Super Bowl victory.

Nick Foles and the Eagles put together a 75 yard drive game winning touchdown drive with just 2:21 seconds to go. Two minutes is an eternity for Tom Brady, but the football gods were with the Eagles Super Bowl night. Tom Brady was strip sacked by Brandon Graham, setting up a 46 yard field goal that gave the Eagles an 8 point lead. Tom Brady's desperation pass last second desperation pass fell incomplete and Philadelphia claimed it's first Super Bowl. Backup QB Nick Foles was awarded MVP.

WHAT CAN WE LEARN?

Nick Foles was the MVP of the Super Bowl after being criticized by many for two poor performances to end the Eagles regular season. Remember, their judgements will never determine you're outcome.

FOUR FATAL AMTRAK CRASHES IN TWO MONTHS

 WHATS UP?

An Amtrak passenger train was switched onto a wrong track and collided with a stationary freight train at 2:35 a.m. on Sunday morning in Cayce, South Carolina.

2 of the Amtrak employees were killed and 116 people were injured in the crash. This is the 4th crash in two months for Amtrak and the circumstances around each fatal incident vary; in two cases, vehicles appear to have driven around the closed arm barrier barrier at train crossings.
